What Is Weird Morning
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had this idea that my life is just a story.
What I wrote
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had this idea that my life is just a story. A dad is telling it to his son around a campfire.
That’s weird. I know.
In the story, I write something every morning. I’ve done it pretty much every day for years. It makes my brain feel better.
One morning, the plant hanger in my kitchen insisted it was a work of art. Now it dreams of Thailand.
Once you start noticing stuff like that, you can’t stop. Then it starts connecting to everything else. A thought walk turns into an idea. A weird sentence fixes a real problem. The dad calls it the Medici Effect. The kid asks if that’s a band.
Kids are weird. That’s what makes life funny. I always admire the adults who stayed that way.
I needed to stop taking life so seriously, so I built something weird.
Now I animate the writing and send it out every weekday morning. It isn’t more information for you to hoard. It’s one strange little thing, so you see the world a little differently.
Your life is a story someone will tell around a campfire.
Give them good material.
Want tomorrow’s? It lands in the morning.
